A big, joyful, shout of congratulations to Cardinal-Designate Timothy Dolan! What fantastic news to hear of his upcoming elevation to Cardinal in Rome on February 18. Knowing Dolan, it will be a party bigger than New Year’s Eve in the Big Apple! Also, check out the video of his interview on The Today Show.

During his tenure here, I had the pleasure of meeting him several times. He is a genuinely loving person, always taking time for a brief chat with anyone who wishes to do so. You can tell he loves what he does by that constant smile. I pray that he is considered for the papacy someday (soon).
The Catholic Church has truly been Blessed by having a man, such as, the now, Cardinal Dolan, to help lead Christ’s Church, here on earth.
We always felt so very special to have him for a short time, as Archbishop of Milwaukee, WI. He brought Joy to our hearts!
We knew it was only a matter of time……I will stick with my prediction that he will be a candidate for Pope one day….God willing.

What wonderful and appropriate news! Could there possibly be a better persona for the Catholic Church in America than Archbishop Dolan?
I pray that someday I will be able to say that I shook the Pope’s hand – even though he was Archbishop of Milwaukee at the time.
